Lcda. Andrea Rojas Martínez - Lawyer

The way Libre Verdad aims to apply and work with the law is in a more communicative manner, accessible to the understanding of anyone. Many times, we go to a meeting with a lawyer and come out more confused than when we entered. The law has many words that can be intimidating and incomprehensible, but in the end, it's just about interpreting them and applying them to everyday life.

Law isn't just about when you need to do a transfer or if you have a problem. It's also about preventing those problems. When you have knowledge and understand it, it's easier to navigate life in general, socially, economically, in business, and within the family.

To introduce the blog and help readers understand who will be assisting and communicating with them, we want you to meet the team, feel comfortable, and perceive how the law has influenced their lives.

We hope you enjoy the perspectives of each of those who will be assisting you.

Luis Carlos Rodríguez Aragón,

Legal Assistant -

The Law is not just an academic discipline or a profession; it permeates every aspect of our daily lives, shaping our social interactions, establishing norms, and ensuring justice and equity in society. As the child of a lawyer and a law student myself, I have firsthand witnessed the importance and relevance of law in my daily life.

From an early age, I understood that the law extends beyond courts and legal procedures; it influences how we relate to others, how we resolve conflicts, and how we protect our rights and responsibilities. My mother, as a lawyer, has taught me the importance of justice, ethics, and respect for the law.

As a law student, I have delved into the understanding of the legal principles that govern our society and learned to apply them in real-life situations. From drafting simple contracts to understanding the fundamental rights that protect us all, the law has been a powerful tool for understanding and improving my environment.

In my daily life, the law influences every decision I make, whether it's signing a contract, knowing my rights as a consumer, or participating in discussions on legal and social issues. It has provided me with a unique perspective to analyze problems, make informed decisions, and advocate for my rights and those of others.

In summary, the law is more than just a profession to me; it is an integral part of my life. As the child of a lawyer and a law student, I value its importance in shaping our societies and protecting our fundamental rights and freedoms.

Erick Rodríguez Castro, Legal Assistant -

It has always been said that Law is a very broad field both academically and professionally, yet few stories are heard about how that breadth of topics and skills that law provides transcends university or work. Law, from a basic interest out of genuine curiosity to studying it at higher levels, can be very beneficial in daily life.

In my personal experience, since I started to take an interest in Law, I have noticed many changes in myself, starting with an increase in my confidence. Once I managed to start studying it formally, it has forced me to face challenges with determination. Every success and every obstacle overcome has strengthened my belief in my abilities and has cultivated a solid self-confidence that transcends the academic part.

The influence of Law extends to every facet of my social life. I have had countless opportunities to meet people from various backgrounds and cultures, expanding my network of contacts and enriching my human experience. Every conversation, every interaction, becomes an opportunity to learn and grow, feeding my curiosity and openness to the world around me.

Another aspect that I highlight is discipline, a fundamental attribute in the practice of law, which has become a cornerstone in my daily life. The need for organization has driven me to use my time efficiently and to maintain a balance between my academic and personal responsibilities. This discipline has been a tool that has allowed me to work towards my life goals and feel better about myself in all areas of my life.

In summary, the law career has been much more than a mere academic choice; it has been an opportunity for personal growth. Through its challenges, I have strengthened my confidence, expanded my social network, cultivated discipline, and achieved many goals related to law or not.

 Rosy Marchena Morún, Human Resources

The law is fundamental in my life because I have come to understand that it extends to all aspects of our existence. It safeguards our essential rights, ranging from the right to life to freedom of expression, religion, labor, and property. It even regulates the fulfillment of our post-mortem wishes. Furthermore, it ensures that all individuals are treated with dignity and respect, establishing guidelines for harmonious coexistence. It also handles conflicts in an equitable and organized manner, offering guidelines on acceptable and unacceptable behavior. It facilitates the negotiation and enforcement of agreements, while also providing us with the opportunity to make more informed decisions.

Additionally, the law contributes to the protection of the environment by preventing pollution and imposing corresponding sanctions, thereby promoting a healthier and cleaner environment. Therefore, it is essential for ensuring environmental sustainability and the protection of natural resources for present and future generations.

In summary, the law is essential for human life, providing a framework of protection, justice, order, and development that promotes the welfare and security of individuals in society.

 Maritrini Murillo Torres, Administrator

It's been a year since I started working at Libre Verdad, and from day one, the legal theme has enveloped me in all aspects. It's been really good and, above all, immersive. Now my friends call me whenever they have a legal question, and with what I've learned, I try to guide them and bring them to the firm so they can resolve their legal issues.

On a personal level, it has helped me to pause many times before saying or doing something that could later be used against me or lead me into a very difficult situation.

 Leslie Acevedo Guillén, Secretary.

The law plays a fundamental role in everyday life, from signing a job contract, traffic laws, a will, among others, guaranteeing rights and responsibilities for all citizens.

The law is important in my life because it has provided me with the foundation to carry out my duties effectively and ethically in my job, as well as teaching me that as a person, one must be careful about how they say or do things to avoid potential legal problems.

I have also discovered that the topic of law is quite broad, and although it is not my strong suit as I do not have knowledge or studies in it, I feel that I am learning little by little, and now I see the law with a new perspective.

Donato Marchena Bran, Legal Assistant.

From the moment I decided to embark on the study of Law, I understood that I was not only choosing a career but also a way of life. And after two years of intense learning and work experience at Libre Verdad, I can confidently affirm that Law has not only shaped my perspective of the world but has also influenced every aspect of my existence.

As a Law student, I have had the privilege of closely observing how laws influence social dynamics. In my work, I have witnessed how Law can be an instrument of change and progress. Whether in resolving conflicts between individuals or defending the fundamental rights of the most vulnerable, the practice of Law has a direct impact on people's lives and the construction of a fairer and more equitable society.

Being a Law student entails assuming great responsibility. As future lawyers, we have the duty to be advocates for justice and human rights. In my experience, I have learned that integrity, ethics, and commitment to truth are fundamental pillars in legal practice. Every case, every client, represents an opportunity to uphold these values and contribute to the strengthening of the Rule of Law.

In summary, Law is not simply an academic discipline or a profession; it is a way of life that permeates every aspect of our existence. From my experience as a Law student and my work at Libre Verdad, I have come to appreciate the importance of Law in society and in my own life. As I continue on my path in this exciting career, I am determined to continue contributing, from my own corner, to the construction of a fairer and more equitable world, where Law is an instrument of change and progress.

 Sianny Fonseca Mora, Legal Assistant.

Law has served me to know how to act in situations that threaten different aspects of my life, both civilly and as a consumer, my rights as a citizen before public entities, and also when in some places they ask me for documents that I had already presented. I learned that there is a law that supports me from not having to repeatedly submit the same documents to an entity.

In short, the law taught me the freedom to defend what I have considered to be abused or violated. Now I understand that the law is of vital importance in our daily lives since it is constantly present in every situation. The law gives us the necessary certainty for a dignified coexistence among the inhabitants of this planet.
